7/16 dovetail rear sight?

Question

I am looking for a replacement fixed sight for a .40 muzzleloader and it need fit a 7/16 dovetail, any recommendations on where to purchase?

I would suggest that you contact Brownell's gunsmithing supply. See link below.

Chances are, if you can not find a 7/16" dovetail, you could open-up the dovetail in the barrel with a small hand file, and not cut into the bore!

I know what you mean but I think you will have to make it yourself, perhaps fabricated from another sight.
