Jesus was from the Tribe of Judah so it a Jewish people right?

As Chani said Judah was 1 of the 12 sons of Jacob / Israel.
It is hard to know where to begin to tell you about Judah's story. It seems like the best place is to just encourage you to read the Bible which tells story starting in the book of Genesis.
I see that you have answered a great many questions on YA. So you have to know something. Just think how much more you are going to know by reading the Bible from start to finish!
I have been reading it daily every year for the past several years. In 1992 I read The Daily Walk Bible. This year I'm reading The Daily Bible in Chronological Order.
You are right Jesus was from the tribe of Judah. There are more than 300 prophecies regarding the Messiah in the Hebrew Scriptures. Jesus Christ is the fulfillment of those prophecies.

Suzanne-I hope you do not mind I make 2 corrections.
Judah was the son of Jacob (called Israel by G-d). There were 12 sons-hence the 12 tribes of Israel.
And, the country split into 2 countries after Solomon's death.
Jesus is said to come from the tribe of Judah, true. This seems to be a strong teaching now. Tho, it was never mentioned when I was in a Christian family, Sunday School, and all. I am now a Jew, as I converted years ago.

The Tribe of Judah consists of all the descendents of Jacob's son, Judah; it is from this Tribe that David, Solomon and Jesus were descended. So, yes, the Tribe of Judah was (and still is) Jewish. As I explained in one of your previous posts, after David's death, Israel and Judah split and formed two countries.
Racially, Hebrews are Caucasians.
