I am curious how many bottles of wine a person can make out of an acre of grapes. I've heard that it takes two bunches of grapes to make one bottle, but I don't know how many grapes you get off of an acre.

Premium wines are produced from vines that produce between 2 to 3 tons per acre. That means about one bottle per vine or less.

Cheaper wines are produced from higher yields per acre, which is one reason the wines are cheaper.

Depends on the grape and the density of vines . I would say in general to be profitable you need a good 6-10 tons per hecter . It works out to about one vine a bottle give or take
