The B-24 turned right into a more advantageous acceptable bomber than the B-17, interior an analogous way that the hurricane turned right into a more advantageous acceptable fighter than the Spitfire. some airplanes seize the universal mind's eye clone of automobiles do - for no particular reason except style. supply me a call and that i will take a B-29 or a P-fifty one (or, an Me-262, acceptable marked!)

The term for this is 'Nose Art'. It is amazing to see how many potentially good artists there are out there, as these designs were ofteh executed by crew members, not professional artists. Tho' frequently rude, involving the Nude, they are depicted with extreme sensuality, nad often with wit. They certainly expose today's graffiti artists as the sham that they are.

My crew chief did one on my F-16 a few years back then on TMOTA (Tiger Meet Of The Americas). Very nicely done. You will be amazed that the quality of their art is actually a whole level better than the so-called Art you see outside, as Foghorn above mentioned earlier.
