The idea of politicians catering to a religious group's "agenda" makes me sick. That is a terrible breach of the seperation of church and state, in my opinion. The whole "gay-marraige" issue is something that should not be dictated by the government or religions. It's a freedom issue for them that should be legal and left alone, just like porn. Sure, the religious people don't approve of porn, but they don't have to buy it. It is available to who does want it, but not widely advertized because it's not appropriate for children to see on a billboard sign or commercial. They should treat all personal adult morality issues that way.

I always vote there is alot of truth in the old saying " you cant complain if you dont vote" if you believe in something you should make a stand for it

I once knew someone like that. He believed that no one but Jesus was fit to rule, so he didn't vote.
