I am a commitment-phobe!

I'm already hypocritical when it comes to my love life. My friends always say I give great relationship advice and they all call me when they need relationship advice of any kind. However, while I am good at giving this advice, I've never been so good at taking my own advice. I.E. I will tell a friend she does not deserve the way she is being treated by a boyfriend and that she should see that this is not the way a relationship is supposed to be, etc. BUT when I was in the same situation, I did the same thing and did not listen to people like myself who where giving me advice about the situation.

I am somewhat hypocritical in my relationship with my parents, out of love. If they knew what was really going on in my mind, all of it, they would be very upset. I love them too much to tell them certain things and keep the communication between us on cheerful, mundane subjects.

You mean one I'm not ALREADY hypocritical about. I Think I would be more hypocritical with some relations who are religious.

Well I don't have to be hypothetical because everyone at one time or another is or else we wouldn't be human beings.

I always tell my father not to eat junk food like pizza because of his health and then I'll occasionally turn around and have what I'm warning him not to eat.

I'd be a nice and decent person, an angel if you will, to everyone when I'm around other people, but when I'm alone with a cherished group of friends or loved one, I'd be a dirty old man.

Materialism. It's far too easy to just go out and "buy" something in the US. The gap between the rich and the poor is disheartening.
