I was looking at the following:

www.nurserywater.com

and they make a virtue of selling flouradated water especially for consumption by babies and infants.

Are you shocked by this too?

Do a Yahoo search for 'Dental Fluorosis'.

I stopped using Fluoride toothpaste about a year ago, it really made a difference to my oral health. I use an Aloe Vera based toothgel now.

You might want to avoid Aspartame as well, that's a cause of brain damage and cancer.

Fluoride is great for children whilst their teeth are growing, it helps strengthen them. Many people have doubts on fluoridation but taken responsilbly it isn't harmful at all. It helps minimise cavities. Fluoride has been studied and tested very diligently by the likes of colgate and macleans, and is very safe. Children do not require as much as adults, as stated on the back of toothpase packets. It is in some water supplies so if you take the recommended daily amount of water and use a fluoridated toothpaste your totally fine. best not to take a fluoride mouthwash at the same time. Same as most things, too much is bad

The cochrane collaboration contains reviews of lots of healthcare trials, try looking there under flouride.
