Prescription diet pills are useful for severe obesity problems. These pills are regulated and their side effects are monitored. Some of these pills are Meridia (Sibutramine), Xenical (Orlistat), Adipex, Bontril, Didrex, Phentermine and Tenuate. Xenical is a lipase inhibitor, decreasing fat absorption by 30% resulting in a lower calorie intake. These pills will not be effective for losing weight , if a conventional weight loss plan is also not followed. Over the counter (OTC) diet pills are considered as food supplements, and their use is unregulated. However, these are very popular and people continue to use them without considering the adverse side effects. More information available at http://www.toloseweight.org/weightlosspill.html

I generally do not support diet pills. The only healthy way to lose and keep weight off is to change your behavior and figure out what triggers you to eat too much, too often, or the wrong foods. Weight Watchers or Dr. Phil's are the best programs I know.I am disabled and cannot exercise and I do not eat too much. I do eat the wrong foods sometimes because it is eaiser to grab something than to cook or prepare, especially on days when my pain is bad. I have just began a new diet pill . It is from France but just started being sold in America. The main ad is about a newswoman from the USA who had a friend from Europe visit. The friend left her sweetening tablets so this lady just used them in her coffee. She didn't know why she lost weight until her friend called and asked if she had left them there. She explained what they were. The newswoman had lost 30 lbs. in a month! (She knew her friend had only been away for a few months and had noticed her slim figure but didn't ask how she did it because she hadn't brought it up.)So she had lost wieght without eating differently or exercising and without knowing about it! I have only been on these 4 days and they are right about no side effects other than pooping most everytime I go to the restroom! These pills are designed to attack the fat pockets so I guess it is the fat going away! They aren't expensive and they will take a predated ck or credit card and hold it until the 3 wks are over. If you are not satisfied you will get your money back,ck returned. I need to lose about 75 lbs and it cost me $100.They only send the amount of pills you need for your amount of weight you need to lose. I got 3 mo. worth. Here is the address if you are interested: Paris Slimming Institute,526 West, 14th Street,Box#201,Traverse City, Mi 49684 (ph for credit card orders only 1-866-361-9725) Best wishes for your weight loss!Contact me if you want.

Diet pills can be dangerous. The better way to lose weight is to change your eating habits. Look into the point system used by
Weight Watchers.... When you eat lots of fruit and vegtables and small amounts of meat and potatoes/rice, you will lose weight, and keep it off. If you use the pills and basically not eat for awhile, you will lose weight, but as soon as you eat (and you will) you will just gain it back and be in the same place... but more depressed. When you eat with discipline, you actually enjoy the food more when you eat treat, on occasion. Good Luck!

No diet pill is a good diet pill! To lose the wieght go on a healthy diet of fruit & vegetables, lean meat (baked not fried), and plenty of water a day! Excersise 30 min. a day, ( walking, set-ups, riding a bike, crunches, ect.) you'll lose the wieght and more likely to keep it off this way! With diet pills, the wieght will come back and be harder to take off again!

So by constantly being active, it will know to start shedding fat and building muscle to compensate for your lifestyle.
