I read an article that said when you're in love, your body develops a chemical addiction to the person you're in love with and that's why it's so hard and so painful when you break up. It's almost like detox. So if this is the case, shouldn't there be a rehab for this? What do you guys think?

Healing a broken heart is a natural process that comes about from good friends and family, your own strength and ability to grow as a person and time. The truth is the most important part is your own ability to grow and learn from it. I think it needs to be handeled individually

No. That's a waste of money. We don't need an even more medicated society than we alraedy have.

Besides, overcoming things like that take time. Not theraphy or medication in most cases, and if did, well, you had bigger problems than a broken heart to begin with.

The only thing that can heal a broken heart is TIME. Why go in a rehab? What could they possibly do? Can they heal your soul?

I think that whole chemical addition thing is bullsh*t. Time heals. Realizing its over (even if you dont want it to be) heals. Not being a punk or pusssy heals. Not wanting to play the fool heals. Revenge heals. Knowing your better off (even in pain) heals. None of this therapy will cost you a dime and it works....I should know.

yeah there is rehab for broken hearts - therapists, self help books, talking/partying with your friends, casual sex - anything to get the heartbreaker out of your system.

I thought it was tequila and watching Dirty Dancing. Nothing like sitting around in your underwear slurring, "nobody puts Baby in the corner."
