We enjoy your questions and enjoy answering.
Hypothetically speaking, if people aren't enjoying themselves then they are foolish for participating.

What is your definition of regular? regular questioner or regular answerer or both?
In any event, it really depends on the particular person and whether the specific hypothetical situation sparks his or her interest enough to actually give a well-thought out response.

It would be interesting to know what your definition of a regular was Jim. You speak of it continually. I have a feeling I am in your irregular category and yet, I am very good with hypothetical situations.

Hypothetically, the regulars are the belligerent ******* who stuck around when their newbie peers peeled off. (******* enjoy questions like "what if Satan rebelled because God was treating us so badly") So, in a given cross section, regulars are crusty ******* while non-regulars are a part-newbie mix.

I'd rather have a hypothetical most of the time. It gives my imagination a chance to work.

I'd say that we atheist and agnostic regulars have the easiest time of all, for free thinking is our way of life.

That means opening up the mind to another way. Not easily done by some.
