I'm in the UK on a 2 year working visa, but with the new laws I'm restricted to on year work and one year travel. I mean realisticly how are you suppose to travel for one year without an income? I am really enjoying my time here in the UK and would like to stay longer. Any suggestions how I could get around this restriction?

You cannot get around it. U can ask ur employee to file for a work permit for u, if ur job is seen as a shortage occupation. Or if u are highly skilled, u can apply for an highly skilled migrant visa. This one reguires u to make the UK ur permanent home though so unless u want that dont bother. It is also difficult to obtain. I am also on that same visa but i CANNOT wait to leave. Turns out I dont like living in the UK after all.
