My girlfriend manages our finances and my monthly salary get paid directly into her account, she has the only atm and credit card but gives me enough to get by each week. This has worked well for the past 6 months, however, 2 weeks ago she made me kneel to her when asking for some money back and told me I would have to do this to her from now on. Last week she told me I would have to do all the housework for her before she gives me anything (we don't even live together). I am affraid what she will make me do next. I would die if we ever broke up the trouble is she knows it too. Any advice?

You probably love it and you dont know what you are feeling is right . She is dominating over you and she is loving ti too. I say enjoy it , it can be alot of fun . the only time I wuld advise otherwise is if she is really hurting you or being verbally abusive for no good reason that was not agreed upon.

ooohhhhhh au contrair mon frere!!! 1, put your check into your OWN account. 2. tell the little miss that you dont do windows, if she wants the house cleaned, do it yourself, 3. tell her the next time she makes you kneel, you will walk out the door.
and you wont die if you broke up. it will most likely hurt like hell, but honestly? you'd be better off without her. she is controlling you and she is abusing you for her own pleasure. this isnt a money thing, its a symptom of something else. she is basically taking you for all you have. ask her for an accounting of where your money has gone in the last six months. Why would you agree to deposit your check into her account and you dont even live together anyways? but that is another topic. Point is, you need to fix this and now. get your money back. and when she realizes that your money isnt in her account anymore? tell her you didnt appreciate having to beg for it. Good luck to you..

Wow! I think you are whipped! You need to get a little aggressive here! Obviously she knows she has complete control over you. First off, go to the bank and open up an account. Talk to your employer about switching your money to a new account. You tell her to kiss your butt, and if she leaves (which I doubt) then good! She just wanted your money. I can understand that she may be good with handling fianances but by God, you earned that money! You don't bow down to anyone for something you work for. If you have a problem telling her that, then you deserve to go through this.

You are wrong what is the matter here woman want men who are assertive and aloof you my friend have become her toy and a breakup is the least of your worries does she pay your bills? Who makes more money? Pull your balls out for a minute Capt. Now take a good long look you lik those things use em! Someone who would make you kneel for money does not love you. Why you would want to stay with an egomaniac I am not sure, but why dont you just get your own job and take care of getting the money you need yourself, then you won't have to beg for money. Especially if you don't live together, there is no reason to have joint finances.

Ditch her! You get treated the way you allow other people trat you. Its not love. Shes a control freak and you are allowing it to happen. Be a man not a mouse. If she is worth being with she will realise she is not being fair. Go to your place of work and alter your bank details, create a new account in your name only for it to go into. You need to tell her she will not have sex now until she stops being a *****.

Why is your salary going into her account? Are you engaged? If not then STOP the situation before it gets worse. It seems to me that she is taking advantage of you. If she makes you do unnecessary things to get YOUR money from her then stop the direct deposit and get your own bank account. If you keep enabling this behavior then it will be all on you and I doubt that it will get better.

It is very nobel of you to allow some girl (because it sounds like she is not yet a woman) to control your money. But guess what?!? It's time to pull your direct deposit slip with the payroll department at work, tell her to take a hike, and find you someone new! Seems like she is a control freak and you deserve better than that!

Have you lost your mind? You need to have your money YOURSELF. Do not let someone else manage if she's making you do all of this. It sounds like to me she is just trying to control you. If you can't manage on you own then give her enough to pay your bills and YOU keep the rest. Hire a Bookkeeper. What are you gonna do if she decides to just take all of your money and play ya

Ok firstly I'm very interested to know why you're doing this to yourself and what is so great about this person that you can't live without her coz honestly she doesn't sound like much of a catch to me. I don't know how old you are but surely if you're old enough to work you're old enough to have your own bank cards. You don't deserve to be treated with such humiliation and disrespect, no-one does. I always say STAND FOR SOMETHING OR YOU'LL FALL FOR ANYTHING. There's something to think about......
