i need help with my mom..she doesnt want me wearing mini skirts and shirts that show my stomach or spaghetti strap shirts..why not..a friend of mine sneeks skirts,.but my mom knows me like the back of her hand...i tried talkin to her..she just says "im your mom and if you want clothes, youll wear what i give you..." and yea..im 13 i think im old enough to do what i want

Child, you are 13 years old. Let that sink in. Your mom is just trying to protect you innocents. You have you whole life to dress that kind of way when your older. Enjoy your youth. Your mom is just watching out for you. And if some older man tells you that "your mom is being a pain" they are just perverts trying to look a some young thing and you don't want that.

Ok heres the deal I use to dress funky as a teenager the secret is this find a way to show your personality with out showing your body if you are fully covered she can't complain and she's right I hate to say it but 13 is not old enough to control your life can you pay bills? Do you purchase your own clothing? Well then it's her way or the hiway and truth be told she is really saving you from a number of negative things that can happen when you dress provacativly believe it or not Your mom knows the what for give her a listen she didn't get to be her age with no expierience.

well darlin you're NOT old enough to do what u want
Its normal to want to show off what you have as your are starting to be curious about sex
The whole reason she keeps you in decent clothing is that she doesn't want u to turn into sleaze bag or end up in a situation you can't handle
When u wear skimply clothes, u get looked at by guys and this makes you feel really good and powerful in a female way.
However! there are some real sickos out there that think if ur wearing those skimpy clothes you're 'asking for it' meaning that you want sex, and since u probably don't it'll be rape and that is something u really want toavoid.
Enjoy being a kid, and listen to your mom, the older you get the smarter she gets and you'll be a better person because of it.

I think your acting immature. Only a skank would wanna wear those clothes, especially to school, If I was your mom, I wouldnt let you wear that crap either. My step daughter WILL NEVER EVER wear that stuff even when she's 16. Get over it. You can wear what you want when you live on your own and dont have anyone to answer to. But get an education and a degree and then you'll have money to do whatever you want with.

If your only 13 than no your not old enough to do what you want. She is trying to prtect you from getting raped or hurt some other way. I did not want to listen to my mom either until something really bad happened to me too. Than after I got out of the hospital I started listening to everything my mom said. But she also would explain to me first why I would have to do what she was telling me to do. And of course I ended up doing it anyway. So she's just trying to protect you thats all.

Chill, you're 13. You're still a minor and your mom is the authority, sorry. When you're 18 you can choose for yourself but as long as you're in her house it's her rules. There's no percentage in fighting all the time. If you respect her rules she may realise she can trust you and cut you more space than she will if you just rebel and act like...a child.

Mothers usually do know best. You've all your life in front of you, humour her for a while, you can wear whatever you want in a couple of years. I wish my mother were alive. I'd wear anything just to have her here. Don't get into conflict with your mother if you can help it.

You're 13 and old enough to do whatever you want? I don't think so. Your mom buys your clothes so you have no say. If you want specific kind of clothes, then earn your own money and buy them yourself. Then she may reconsider.
