My sister had a dream a couple of nights ago, where she saw my brother in his room hanging from the ceiling dead, does anyone know what this might mean? I've looked on a few website but most of them do say stuff about death but not suiside.
Can any help?

no there aren't any argument just goes in to his room and see's him there

Usually when we see other people in our dreams, we are only seeing them because of what they represent in ourselves. For example: if your brother is very responsible, that is what he represents to your sister. Seeing him dead, maybe she feels that she has lost that part of herself.
Dreams should never be taken at face value. Ask your sister what qualities her brother represents to her, then ask her if she feels like maybe she's lost some of those same qualities in herself.

you say he was hanging from the ceiling you did not say it was suiside did you,......
Generally to see any death in your dreams can be one of several things, one, you went to sleep thinking about a death, conciously or not, thus your mind was still working on that, very often this is the reason for many of our dreams. It has long been considered that if one dreams of death then one will experience in the not too distant future a death of some sort, or be connected to one, it is however not comfortable when it is a member of the family in the dream who dies, as normally the face is not made out. Thirdly often we dream of things we wish for, perhaps, just perhaps your sister had words with your brother recently, forgot all about it, but deep down wished him harm.
finally, some regard dreams as just that, with no meaning etc.
What ever the case, what will be will be life is short, so enjoy it, and tell your brother to live life as much as possible whilts he can.

Seeing someones' deatlh in dream could mean anxiety, worry and anger. It depends on how close the relationship is. In your case, your sister is dreaming of that. It may be due to some movie or media effect. If not, it could mean that she is stressed and projecting a death sence on other may seem to relieve her stress or anxiety about relationship. In other words, her subconscious mind may want that end so that she won't either get angry with your brother any more or she won't have to worry about your brother anymore. Whether the intention is good or bad, ,that is only a dream

I think dreams are messages from your subconscious mind. They bring to your attention things that might otherwise escape your attention in waking life. Is your brother a very introvert or private person? There may be a lot on his mind that he would like to talk about but doesnt know how or who to talk to. Maybe this dream is a way of tellin you and your sister that your brother needs your help? Try talking to him.I no im making a lot of assumptions here but u'll no urself if this might apply or not... good luck

It is not the objects in the dream but the feeling you feel from it and the expression in general. So compare that feeling and fear to an event happeningin your life. It could notbe known yet and warning you. Most dreams like that are pending danger or unseen danger. I would GTD if you tell her this and as the next say 2 weeks go by she will know what the dream was far as the evennt comes to pass..

It probably signifies that she is worried about something he is doing or a risk she thinks he is taking needlessly. Don't get over focussed on the image, it will scare you. We have important and powerful images in our dreams to drive subconscious thoughts into conscious thinking.
She has probably had some anxiety about your Brother that she keeps pushing to the back of her mind and it is her bodies way of telling her to stop doing that and give it some serious thought and action.

the dream means something in his life has finished/ ended for example he could of finished a relationship or completed a job at hand its nothing to worry about. its like people say: if you dream of a birth something new is starting and a death is the end of it.

Dreams usually mean the opposite, e.g. dream about a funeral and you will go to a wedding.
I think that this dream means a new start of some kind for your brother.

It could be a premonition. You might want to check in to it. See if he has had any bad thoughts of hurting himself. I have a daughter that does that from time to time. Not that often. Dreams about stuff that later comes true. But nothing bad.
