thanks for the input. I think I am going to borrow my friends toe ring, as my shoes are sandal type, and she is happily married. Thanks for all the wedding wishes, I am so excited and can't wait!

First of All! HOW EXCITING FOR YOU!! (You're not suppose to congratulate a bride BEFORE she is married... superstition)
Does your mom or gandmother or maid of honour or an aunt have a hankercheif you could carry?
That's what I did when I got married a month ago.
You could borrow a penny from someone to put in your shoe.
Does someone wear a type of perfume you like that you could borrow?
Does someone have something special (a neice of nephew maybe that has a ribbon in it?) Borrow the ribbon, tie it in a little bow and pin it descreetly somewhere on the hem of your dress.
Borrow a pen to sign your marriage license with.
Most of all HAVE a great time!!!!!

I would have to say that the toe ring is a very nice idea- especially if it s from a very close friend of yours. I am having the same dilemma right now too- as i dont really know what i should pick. All the suggestions here on your question were good so i think i may pick from this lot! lol..
congratulations! ;0)

My something borrowed was my grandmother's engagement ring. I tied it to a hankerchief (which was my something old from my other grandmother) and wrapped it around the stems of my bouquet.
You can not go wrong! The only rule is to borrow something from someone else who is happily married.
Good luck to you. Enjoy the day and many blessings for a happy marriage.

That would work perfectly. The toe ring would give you luck since it is your friends. Just be careful because you don't want to worry if it is going to fall off of your foot!
I can't believe the day before your wedding you have time to be on your computer. I didn't have time to breath! I wasn't stressed just busy running around. Of course it didn't help that my mom cancelled my hair appointment.
Good luck to you. I wish you all the best in all that you do.

Hello,
Relax. Take a deep breath. Think about your wedding, and the happy life you're going to share with someone.
And cut down your decisions to a simple action.
Go upto your mom's room, and grab the first glittering thing you see on her dresser. Don't even bother to choose. It's not the thing that matters, but the fact that it's something borrowed.
Wish you a very happy married life.

congrats and good luck - usually the day of the wedding - someone will ask you if u have the something borrowed, blue etc.
if they don't, just ask someone while getting dressed - it can be as simple as an aunt's broach - or friends hairpin.
