feink you do not need to diet. well by diet I assume you mean lose wieght, if you mean develop a healthy eating system it can't hurt. like Fried eggs aren't supposed to be a good thing to eat, but I can't give up cheese omelets. With that hieght if anything gain a bit of wieght. In general depending on your body type you sound like a great looking person. I don't know whether your a guy or a girl I suppose that make's a difference. It's important that you except who you are and like yourself! You still have some growing to do maybe filling out so forth. It's important to get nutrition at that age. My dad was 6'4" when he was 11 hasn't grown taller since. Make sure you get your nutrition and calcium and stuff like that though.

What you need to do is not worry about being overweight right now. You are at a young age and your body is going through a bunch of changes. What you need to do is start exercising on a regular basis and eat healthy. If you don't start now, then in the next 10 years you will need to ask the question "am I overweight".

5'5 and 123 looks good and is fine. But...I would have my cholesterol checked, as in this day of fast everything, even young children have high cholesterol for their age. A high cholesterol would be reason to lose weight and become more active.
Now, sweetie, have Mom read this. I think 13 is too young to be on this site.

Thirteen years old.
Next time you go to the doctor ask him what your health weight should be.
Health weight is your right weight.
Enjoy being 13 your teenage puppy fat and pimples they will not last forever.

Only a dietitian or your family health doctor can actually determine if you are heavy for your age and height. People are different, you might just be normal.

hi, i understand your frustartion weight is such a thing to deal with and at a young age. According to the body mass index you are a little over weight. I have heard of the weight loss patch. one of my friends is a model and she uses it it works wonder and its easy to use!
