Is this an abonormal condition ? If so, what can I do to overcome this problem. If not, will she outgrow this condition ? Thank you.

It is abnormal, however it is a condition that very well could fix itself when she gets fixed. My chocolate lab had problems holding urine until she got fixed because of chronic vaginitis infections.

My Labrador had the same problem around that age. I called my vet because everyone told me that was extremely abnormal. When I called my vet they told me the same thing. So after $1,200.00 in tons of test i was told I had "a quirky dog" and there was nothing medically wrong with him. Trust me I did not want to pay that much money to be told that. He is now a year and half and has not done it since that time. If I would have waited I could have saved lots of money. Its up to you but take it from me save the money and let her grow out of it. And there going to be people who tell you get her to the vet but expect to pay a lot for the testing. I just made sure he went outside before he went to bed and did not drink tons of water before falling asleep. He stopped totally doing it by the time he was 6 months. Occasionally he would have minor accidents after that, but it greatly lessened.

I know of this problem as an occasional one but if it's happening often, I'd take her to the vet and have her checked out. White Sheherds often have health problems but mostly with hearing. It could be weak stomach muscles or a urinary tract infection... but my honest opinion is that she'll grow out of it. I always play it safe though and have a vet check out any problems. Assuming you'll be having her spayed, you could have the vet check her during the surgery.

Is she spayed? This could be a problem caused by spaying . Could also be a infection. Have the vet check for it.
If no infection, the vet can give a prescription to control this. There is also a homeopathic med for this called Leak No More. They have this at http://www.jefferspet.com
