Depends where you live. In America and Australia I didn't really kiss people, just a brief bear hug among friends of both sexes (however, in Australia it's considered taboo for men to touch each other, so usually they greet each other with gestures instead). I may give one peck on the right cheek if I receive a gift, or at the end of the night when I've been out on a non-romantic date with a male friend.
In Indonesia/Southeast Asia, handshakes are always safe. Fake air kisses by touching cheeks twice is common among women who are friends, but touching other than handshakes is usually avoided between the opposite sex.
In the Netherlands/Flanders (Dutch Belgium) do three kisses: right-left-right. The man kisses the woman, or the older woman kisses the younger one (or fake them in the air). In Wallonia (French Belgium) and in the UK, do one or two kisses. As a rule of thumb, in Europe you never kiss someone you've only met for the first time--only start when the contact has warmed up (one conversation maybe enough, depending on how you interacted). No kisses between men, except for father and son (even grown sons are OK).

Everybody kisses diferently but, as long as you keep it soft and flowing it should be alright, some people are just not compatable when it comes to kissing so even if you're a good kisser it will be a horrible experience if you kissing someone who can't kiss. If you ever kiss a person that can't kiss you can either try teaching him or let him go because kissing is a huge part of the relationship.

I'm in the middle east at the moment and here they kiss each other ,including men ,on both cheeks. It's taken quite a while to get used to see the men kissing. So i suppose it depends on which country the kissee and the kissor are from.

So if I meet Bloodrayne I'm supposed to kiss her on the cheek?
Specify the conditions of the questions please. The question is too broad and anyone can answer.
And here's mine:
If a family relative kiss another, it's a symbol of respect.
And I do not do not do not want to kiss Bloodrayne.

It is a quick peck on the cheek. It is really casual. Just one kiss. But if you want to act french about it, you can give em' a quick peck on both cheeks. Just make sure that they are not going to mind. Some people would not like to be kissed. A firm, warm handshake does quite well and if you see the person lean in as though to kiss, then kiss.

Depends on where your from, the french give 1 on each cheek but here we just give one on one cheek, the cheek depends on which way the person is coming toward you. I don't think there are any specific rules about it.

Here in Italy it's two kisses and you start with the right then the left side. I know in spain its 3 and start right-left-right again. But in america you can do only one cheek and whichever one is closest should do.

This all depends where you are, and what it like culturally. Sometimes people just give a peck on one cheek - you go to the right. Sometimes people do two. Imagine my surprise when I married a guy from an Eastern European country, and they all do three! Lotsa kissing going on!
