Muslims believe in the existence of Jesus as a prophet of God. Not as the son of God. Muslims believe that god does not have children.

yes, it is true that Muslims believe that Jesus was one of the Prophets of God, like thousands of others, and also believe that he was not a son of God. They also believe that God is father to none.

Thank you for your question.
We Muslims respect Jesus (as) as a prophet of God. In the Quran he is referred to as Ruh Allah, meaning spirit of God. We also believe in the virgin birth and that Jesus (as) spoke to the gathered people while he was still an infant.
We do not believe that he is the son of God. We do not believe that God has any offspring.
We do not believe that he was an atheist. What nonsense is that?
And Allah knows best.
Peace and Blessings,
Salim

Muslims do believe in Jesus (Isa) the son of Mary (Mariam). He was a prophet According to the Qur’an, ‘Isa was the Messiah. He was supported by the ‘Holy Spirit’. (Al-Baqarah 2:87; Al-Ma’idah 5:110) He is also referred to as the ‘Word of Allah’. (An-Nisa’ 4:171)
We do not believe that Isa peace be upon him died for our sins, no court around today would punish one Innocent person for the sins of others.
Isa was not an atheist he believed in God (Allah) and taught others about God.
Isa was not the son of God he was a man.
Isa will return to the world.

They honor Jesus as a prophet, much like Moses. They exalt Mohammed, however, since they believe he was the last prophet to carry Allah's message to the people.

Where do you people get this stuff? Muslims believe that Jesus was a prophet and not the son of God. Therefore, they will not see the kingdom of God unless they accept Jesus as their savior and acknowledge that He was the son of God and HE died on the cross for their sins, being then born again.
John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

They refer to him as a prophet. They do not have the concept of a messiah in Islam, and certainly do not believe that Jesus was the son of God.
