Meet in a public place like a restaurant or somewhere others will be around. I've met people at concerts that I met online. As long as you do not make rash decisions to go to secluded places with someone you don't really know, you'll probably be fine. But make sure to let friends and family know exactly where you are going and when you expect to be home and stay in touch. It's a dangerous world out there, so be careful!

It's not that safe, not nowadays anyway so if you're thinking of meeting up with someone off the interent make sure you have someone with you like a friend or a member of family.

I've met a couple of people off the web mainly because they lived in the same town and we'd arrange to meet in the town because there'd be lots of people about so it hasn't been too bad. This year however I'm meeting a friend of mine of whom which I haven't met yet. He lives in Finland and I'm meeting up with him in London but I'll always take someone with me.

That all depends on where in the world you are - your ages and most of all your sence of security - I would not ever meet anyone I am not 1000% sure of and never ever alone and most deffenetly somewhere populated and never I state NEVER give out your adress or otherweis personal info that can risk your safety!! And always let someone else know what or were you are up to !!

I went across the ocean to meet two someones I'd been talking to online--although I was going there anyway...and we'd been talking for over a year...both of them were actually so much better than I thought they would be, but both of them portrayed themselves truly...and were SOOO much fun!! It was great! But, they were both older (40's & 50's), so there wasn't any BS or insecure egos involved. But...I am REALLY glad I did it!!!

think meeting a guy on line over the phone etc.its not bad but sometimes it could be because they can tell you what you want to hear on line then when you see them in person they might just want to have sex with you.take you to they house to rap or kill you.any thing is possible just don't be easy.man take controll over easy woman and use them.

I don't know that it is safe. People can pretend to be anyone they want via the Internet.
