Could you ask one of her friends to some how get the information out of her? Or maybe you could go have a look through her jewelwry box to see if there are any rings in there?

Go to a jeweller that has a girl serving. Choose the ring and check if it fits the assistant. Girls fingers do not vary that much.If it fits the assistants get it 1 size larger.
The shop will then make it the right size a few days later while you wait. Make sure the shop you go to can do this on the premises before you buy.
Best of luck in your life together.

Be really Nancy Drew and wrap a ring of paper around her finger whilst she's sleeping an take it too the jeweller's- she might get suspicious if she finds you rooting around her jewellery box/ realises one of her rings are missing which could lead to some very awkward quesions.
Good luck!

I just took one of my fiance's rings and tried in on my hand to see where it fit. Her ring fit about halfway down my small finger. I went to the jewelry store and had them size the ring to the same place on my finger and added 1/2 a size. It was a perfect fit.
She had no idea it was coming, I completely surprised her. Best of luck.

I made it difficult for my fiancee as I do not have any other rings. He asked the girl in the jewlers for a standard/average size and made sure it was easy to alter/change if needed. To play safe you could try a size larger than suggested (at least then she can get it on her finger to try the effect). Lucky for him I'm an avarage size and it fit perfectly.
Good Luck

Buy an ordinary ring and present her and notice the size of the finger if it is matched then buy the wedding ring otherwise you can buy the ring taking the size of the finger noticed earlier.

Nick one of her other rings. take it to the jewelers. size it, and have it back in time for tea. If the jeweler is good, and they are used to this situation, they will alter in minutes. these old guy jewelers are masters at this. but just take one of her other rings, tell the jeweler which finger she has it usually on, and he will work it out, other than that, make an impression in a bar of soap, just in case she wears it every day....get up early and do it. good luck

Has she an old ring that she dosent wear anymore, take her shopping in a ring shop and see if she tries any on, and go back and see what size it is, pretend not to notice, mmmmm study her fingers one day, and just try and guess conpared to your fingers..... yeah it is a hard one. but maybe an old ring off hers would be the best. good luck and god bless.

There will even be more surprises if the ring does not fit. She will ask you who is it for before you met her?
