Okay,this white guy in my class is always staring at me and smiling at me, And he's really nice and he's been trying to ask me out. He's really cute too. He has black hair and green eyes. I'm so relucant to go out with him becuase he's white. I want to but I think my family won't apporve. WHat should I do?

Hi....well i think that you shouldn't mind alot because of the color of his skin....it doesn't means a thing....if he ask you out and you want to go out with him...go! You can't be the rest of your life trying to please everyone.....I'm angolan, i'm in Africa and people here is more racist than there...i think...Once i met a guy...french...he could speak english of course...he was blond...green eyes...very kind, polite...good manners...really nice...we spent great time together...until he go back to another country...The important is that we spent good time together...people used to look at us really bad...but...who cares???!!! Enjoy your life...but be careful....men are all the same....black or white...they are all the same...Good luck

You know I will never understand why people have to look at color when thinking of dating or marrying. Color is only the skin. After we die and only a skeleton is left we all look the same.
Talk to him and just be friends at first and talk to your parents. Racism is a sickness and should never stop anything.
Just think if everyone would just date and marry whom ever they wanted we would all really be the same. Last but not least we all came from then same place to start with. Africa. Aren't we really the same anyways.
If your wondering I am white in color but I am a human like you and everyone else.

Don't cage your self in to what your parents may want. If they really love you they will understand. You are a young adult. If you think you like him, go for it. We are a human race, and shouldn't be divided by color, nationality, etc. Life is too short to make boundaries.
By the way, my niece married a wonderful black man and they have two beautiful children now. What a great additon to our family.

Go out on a trial date with him, if you don't end up together, don't bother to even mention him to your family. Don't create unnecessary drama with your parents if this white guy is not going to feature in your future.
If you do start to seriously date, wait 6 months to introduce him to your folks. Only mention this white guy to your family if he is worth the struggle that may result of you two being together....

However, the considerations of a family are important and should be weighed and considered, and not entirely neglected, so at least listen to what they say and make the decision for yourself.

I think that if you like him you should go out with him. Bring it up to your family i do not think that they would really have a problem with it. You know we except other races better than they except us, so i dont think your family will really make a big deal about it. Just give it a try, you never know, he just may be your soul mate.

Go out with him if he is nice and you think that you might like him. What is the worst that can happen if you hang out with him at the mall or something? You may find out that you have absolutely nothing in common with him and move on or you may find that you really like him. And if your parents truly care for you, all that should matter to them is that you are happy.

okay what you can do is tell him (the guy)what you feel about him and then tell him that your family won't approve !! If you like him really much tell you family that you want to go out with this guy !! ( you really don't have to do this but that what I will do! hope it helps!)
