Dogs are not completely colorblind, but they do only see certain colors. While humans have three receptors in their eye's retina, dogs only have two and have difficulty distinguishing among green, yellow, orange and red. Dogs interpret blue-green colors as white and those toward the red end of the color spectrum as more and more yellowish. Dogs can differentiate colors in the blue to violet range of the color spectrum and recognize the difference between black, white and some shades of gray.

Yes and no. Dogs do not have the same make up in their eyes as humans do. Dogs do not see certain colors but do see some. Most of their 'seeing' happens thru their nose. For a dog its Nose, Ears, Eyes, for a human its Eyes, Ears, Touch. Dogs have a tough time with reds.

Yes they are, in the same sence that a person can be color blind.
Dogs see in two colors instead of three.

We see "VIBGYOR" (Violet, Indigo, Blue, Green, Yellow, Orange, Red)
dogs see "VIBYYYR" (Violet, Indigo, Blue, Yellow, Yellow, Yellow, and Red). The colors Green, Yellow, and Orange all look alike to dogs

dogs are pink and eco-friendly colour blind, they do look to be able to see lazer concepts although (probable as a grey dot, no longer a pink one) i imagine some merely are not attracted to it. I have 2 dogs, if I shine a lazer pointer round one he merely ignores it like he won't be able to even see it, because of him i for my section theory at the start that dogs couldn't see the lazer pointer. I were given a chihuahua very last year, he will bypass loopy chasing after a lazer pointer. merely be careful no longer to polish it of their eyes.

I think they're not. If dogs were colorblind, how would seeing-eye dogs know when to let blind men and women cross the street?
