I have never used a cellphone out of fear that I'll become incredibly dependent upon it as many others are. No thanks. You can call my house and leave a message on the answering machine!
I do have a digital camera and it would not be a crisis if it broke. It'll be disappointing though.
I love my computer and couldn't live without it.

It is a very sad world that all your answers almost certainly will list countless gadgets people can't live without and get in debt to acquire.
I remember to this day my first radio set - it was what was called a cats whisker and you had to hold these tiny little whisker things connected to an enormeous pair of headphones to hear bits and pieces of the early radio broadcasts.
This was before valves were invented making radio and T.V. a possibility, then came transistors, then the micro chip and now you name it - we live in a "must have it" society. And in those days everyone was happy and smiling at eachother and had time to talk to each other face to face no need for the aggression which is now commonplace in the world we are all corrupting,

I can't live without my Palm One palm pilot. It would be a major crisis if it broke. I also love my digital camera and take thousands of pictures of everything and anything. Digital cameras allow you freedom to snap away without worrying about the cost of developing film.

Sat Nav 4 Car, Sat Nav 4 Walking, Digi Camera, Mobile phone with i-tunes, PDA, several lap-tops, countless other gadgets and gizmos.
If I could live without them I wouldn't have bought them, I maintain them and up-date them as necessary.

i bought a pink rhinestone encrusted sidekick its great i love it. my friends and i would die if we didn't have our cells, digi cameras and computers. the entire world would. I'm not sure if it would work but they have to have like some sort of backup for ur gadgets.
