Somehow, according to Christianity, it is easy to get around this via the Christian doctrine of the Trinity. This doesn't quite pan out, though. Jesus, being the Son, says "I and the Father are one". This means Jesus and the Father are one and the same. Therefore, Jesus should be able to do everything the Father can, and know everything the Father does. Yet, Jesus says "No man knoweth the time, nor the angels, nor the Son, but only the Father", regarding the end of the world. If the Son, Jesus is one with the Father, surely Jesus should know the end of time as well.

This is what FAITH is for - there is a certain amount of the unknown in any religion and Christianity is no different - the Bible says it and that is more than enough for me. However here is my best explanation - God the Son (Jesus) is fully, completely God. God the Father is fully, completely God. And God the Holy Spirit is fully, completely God. Yet there is only one God. In our world, with our limited human experience, it's tough to understand the Trinity. But from the beginning we see God this way in Scripture. Notice the plural pronouns "us" and "our" in Genesis 1:26 -- Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground." Then the Bible goes on to say - "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit." (Matt. 28:19) and Jesus said: "I and the Father are one." (John 10:30). I hope this helps some - most of all I just believe what God says.

Well Mister Wizard, we can call it what we like; but the fact is is that Jesus(Son) and God(Father) are not the same.. but (basically) of the same.... ENERGY. EVERYTHING is of energy that over time, has slowed down to coalesce within atoms, which themselves united to form molecules. How these elements configure while coming together determines what the entity will look, feel, smell, sound, and taste like in nature. The rate(speed) this is metabolizing at, relates to its consistency and density; fast-water.. slow-dirt.. slower-concrete and so forth. This gives a basic view into how things are like they are.
The exciting part (for us anyway) was the molecule's morphous towards developing into a single cell.. precursor to all life forms on this planet. It's easy to think that Mother Nature can't possibly improve on the Human Being, but remember; the Dinosaurs probably felt the same.. and they ruled Earth for more than 150 million years, we've been around roughly a little over two million... so it may be too soon to talk.
P.S.
If you were referring to "being the same thing as" in a way other than Biological, then.... "never mind."

It is simple. God, like man, is a triune being. That means He is able to work in three different realms of reality. Each human being is made of three parts, a body, a mind or soul, and a spirit.
Which is the real you, your body or your mind? The answer is - both. Yet they are not the same thing. They are each "you", but they work and operate in different realms, the body in the physical, the mind in the mental, and the spirit in the spiritual realm. Your mind can not touch physical objects. You body can not have an idea. They each exist and have authority in different realms. Yet they form one person
God also expresses Himself in the different realms. Each part having influence in a different area, yet each part is just as much "God" as any of the others. These different expressions are referred to in the scripture as "Father", "Son", and "Holy Spirit". Each is just as much "God" as any of the others, and together they form One Person.
The "Father" works in the heavenly realm, creating and substaining. The "Son" entered into the physical realm in the form of the man Jesus the Christ, giving His life for the redemption of others. The "Holy Spirit" flows in the realm of the heart (the union of the mind and spirit) where He provides the new born and gives guideance, comfort and power to the believer. Each is "God", just manifest in a different realm.
Why the titles Father and Son? Again, a simple question. In Jewish tradition, the phrase "the son of" meant a lot more that just the physical offspring of a person. A male child did not become a "Son" until he had shown that he was responsibile, trustworthy, had learn the family business, and was ready to take on the responsibilty, rights and powers of the family name. Then the father would stand the child before family and friends and declare "This is my beloved son in whom I am well pleased". (You have heard of a bar mitza?) At that point, the child took on all the rights, power and responsibilities of his father.
When Jesus was 30 years of age, having shown he was responsibilty and trustworthy - ready to take on the family business - Jesus was placed by God before family and friends at His baptism, and God declared, "This is my Son in whom I am will pleased". Note that Jesus is never referred to in scripture as the Son of God before this event. From that time on, Jesus publicly walked in all the rights, power and responibilties of his "father" God. That is when His miracles and teachings began.

Many people have a problem understanding the trinity. Let me try and help you here.
God is God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.
Triune God.
Water is: fluid, ice, water vapour
3 forms but all H20
The same is with God
Three separate functions, yet all three are God.
Hope this helps

I'm no scholar, but this is how I believe that works out:
God became a human on Earth, but at the same time retained His spiritual being in Heaven. The two manifestations were of the same God but with different attributes. The Holy Spirit is referred to as a third manifestation of God in spiritual form, but with different attributes than either of the other two.
I believe God used the word "son" for Jesus so we could in some way relate to their relationship.
The gene pool from which we all originate is the same, but we are all different manifestations of that pool. No, you aren't your father, but you both came from the same origin.

Being allmighty can make you do and be alot of things.
Lets consider how small human minds are.
Lets go back to the begining.
Where does God come from? He had to come from somewhere doesn't he? Was he born or created, but he had to have a begining hey? For human minds there has to be a begining and for that there has to be an end.
God lives forever. That means there is no end and therefor there has to be no begining. Difficult to understand yes and people will laugh about this statement,it is mindblowing I agree.
So being allmighty can make you do anything even be two to three beings and still be the same person.

You aren't divine.
All three represent the Godshead.
The triune-trinity.
By Christianity you have a body, soul and spirit.
All three co-exist yet you are still one person.
God just separates himself into three separate parts
Father-son-holy spirit. 3 part of one supreme being.
Think of cloning yourself into three beings-all spiritual.
The Holy Spirit
Jesus
and Father.
Then if you were divine-total supreme enity you could be in three places at once! or together.
An egg has the shell-egg white and yolk.
three part= one egg yet you can remove any portion
into three bowls and still have an egg.
God is beyond our limited imagination.
I can take whole milk- which is approx 3.6% butterfat.
remove butter fat
and make cheese
make buttermilk
skim milk
2% milk
Yet it was just milk but many combinations
Clone yourself and you will be father of the clone (yourself) and of your son and then clone son who then would be father of himself and also his own son and continue on.

Jesus was not the son of the God. There's no way a man can be the son of the God. God has no son and wife. while Jesus or Prophet Isa was a Muslim and he was a Prophet sent by Allah. If God has son and wife, He is no different than human. Allah is the ONE and ONLY God. He created this whole universe. why can't you see and think?

to put it shortly.
they can't. and that is why most of christianity is simply polytheistic, even if they deny that its so.
Judaism: God = 1, there are times where that one can have moods or different faces, but this is the same as one person being "dad" "husband" "mr smith" "boss" ... ect.
Christianity: God = 3 people that are clearly seen as distinct individuals. ... such as talking to eachother, and being discretely incarnated into a physical form. can you show me where God talks to another "face" of himself, in the OT? not last I checked, and the closest thing is a "royal we"
there are all sorts of fancy explanations and excuses for people that belive 1+1+1 = 1 have to make it sound logical, but really its just circular reasoning at its finest.
"Triuene" is not "one". a truly monotheistic god, is simply one. not 3. it REALLY is that simple.
if its not 1, its more than one, and thus, its polytheism.
and thats not even to get into the angle where some see there being 3 positive deity-level entitys, and 3 counters to them, thus making 6 total deitys.
and not even going to start on saints....
