Oh, my, yes. There are historical sites all over Turkey; there are great beaches to the west and south. Look up the area or city you plan to visit and most of the events and tourist activities will be listed. Turks are very family -oriented and love children, so your son should be welcomed.
If you are planning to visit now, you should bear in mind that Ramadan began today and will last for one month. It is a time of fasting for the religious Muslim, but no one will expect you or any tourist to observe the custom. There will be huge and public feasts every night to break the day's fast. For example, the hippodrome is now lined with food booths and activities -- all of which will operate for Iftar.
Enjoy your stay!

Hmm if you figure out where on Turkiye you want to visit then i can help you out on where to go at night.. I pretty much know which places are suitable and will be worth the money time and energy.
Istanbul is good for historical times and good food as well as shopping like mad. And all the Turkish experience.
But for more summer fun action i think you should head for the south or west of Turkiye like Marmaris, Bodrum, Antalya, Alanya Kemer...
One thing is for certain people are warm helpful and you ll be having to see a lot of history while you are around Turkiye.
Enjoy :)

wow...so many!! u must see all the history...Alanya...beautiful...Olympos...Istanbul...u must go to a bazaar...they are brilliant...and take a boat cruise!! trust me u need a long time in Turkey to see everything but its worth it...i was there for a month and only covered Antalya (includes Alanya etc!) and a bit of Istanbul...but so much history, so much culture...beautiful...and the night life is better!! just dont go to touristy places...you should go and expierience the real calmness of Turkey and its hard to do that with fellow tourists..i went with my ex-fiancee (he was turkish) and to be with a native you see more than what any guide will show you.

Visit Cappadocia. It's a wonderful place to take anyone, see the Fairy Castles and see the Underground City (built in a mountain, cave dwellers lived there). Unforgettable. Its quite difficult to get there but coaches do go there, a long journey but so worth it! Have a wonderful time.

That question is general. If you have place in your mind in Turkey, I can recommend you something. But it is important to know which city or cities you are planning to visit?

properly they could desire to no longer violate the Turkish customs, their custom, ideals and so on. in no way make a undesirable observation approximately Ataturk and in no way EVER burn the Turkish flag - they could serve a existence sentence if their fortunate to be alive
