I haven been raised, as have many others, under the understanding that no means no. However, I've found that women will say no when they mean yes, and this has ruined every relationship with a woman in my life because I treated "no" as no. Should I abandon the "no" means no etiquette in favor of "no" means FORCE ME?

I've found myself in similar situations, and not just with girlfriends. Just last month, my sisters and my cousin and I were debating where to eat. I suggested Thai, and they said "no". We ended up eating at an Italian restaurant. The next day, they were complaining that we should have eaten Thai, like I suggested, and they were blaming me for not insisting on my initial suggestion. Sometimes you just can't win. Sorry my friend, but you were born with the wrong gender in the wrong era. Your only option is to keep treating "no" as no, but realize, and learn to accept that there is nothing can do. As other have already said, sometimes (though very rarely) no really does mean no, and ignoring that fact may be the LAST mistake you ever make.

The women must be messed up that you are dating.. Where did you meet them? Not in church, I guess. You better stick with no means no because if you step over the line you could go to jail for a long, long, time. It's not worth taking a chance.

Is that before or after you poured several drinks down her ? NO ! MEANS NO ! Respect & understanding are used in a real relationship and getting to know the person first...Then, you have a open line of commutication & trust no guess work Or FORCE is needed... It may not work out ..But, no one gets hurt...By mixed signals....Thanks

It really depends on the situation. take for instance , you ask your g/f if she would like a certain present for her b-day. If she says no, that usually means yes. But in the matter of sexual relations. If she says no, take it as a no. If you are hanging around girls who mean "force me" when they say "no", you need to find different girls to hang around. that is not a responsible thing to do and you sound like you are trying to be responsible so my suggestion is to keep up that responsibility before you misinterpret someone and end up in trouble.

its the worst thing, isnt it! I dont think there is a real answer to this. You would never know when no means "yes"! I think its just best to know what you are doing and trust your judgement. Unless some really bad thins happen, then stick wiht the ''no means no''.

No means NO, no matter what. If you think she is playing a game you can ask her, but DON'T you dare try to make her feel guilty, and DON'T you dare "force" her because you think this is what she really wants. That's how men become rapist with your kind of thinking. If you think she is just playing a game with you then leave her alone. If you don't, you WILL end up in jail and have MEN not taking your NO as NO.

No DOES mean no.

Any "woman" that is still playing that game obviously still has some growing up to do!

Don't lose faith. There are real women out there who will stand up, say what they mean, and mean what they say!

First, the Lord made man..

First the Lord made man in the Garden of Eden.
Then he said to himself, "There's something he's needing."
After casting about for a suitable pearl,
He kept messing around and created a girl.

Two beautiful legs, so long and so slender,
Round, slim, and firm, and ever so tender.
Two lovely hips to increase his desire,
And rounded and firm to bring out the fire.
Two lovely breasts, so full and so proud,
Commanding his eyes, as he whispers aloud.
Two lovely arms, just aching to bless you,
And two loving hands, to soothe and caress you.
Soft, cascading hair hung down over her shoulder,
And two dreamy eyes, just to make him grow bolder.
'Twas made for a man, just to make his heart sing.

Then he added a mouth.

Ruined the whole damn thing.

Stick to NO means NO, if you don't the next thing is you will be facing a rape charge.

Lay the ground rules ahead of time. If it's games she wants to play with the no means yes rule then if your comfortable play the game with her. Be careful it could get you into trouble.

No means no but might mean maybe-I just use simple teasing and stimulation to turn the no into a "do me". Never force it.
