i think a public place, if you havent really met each other properly i would suggest going out for coffee as that is sort of a short date and you can get away easy if your not interested or if you are really enjoying yourself you could then go out for dinner.........if you already know each other then i nothing beats a dinner or if you want to be really romantic a picnic......enjoy

The best thing to do is go for a drink somewhere public but quiet enough to have a descent conversation.
If u have a drink and u guys really hit it off u can always make a second date or decide to go to dinner and have a fab evening.
Or if u dont hit it off then u can always have a drink and say thanx and goodbye. And that gives the other person the escape to if they dont feel a mutual connection.
This is just a safety messure that prevents everyone from having a terrible time. You can duck out anytime you want.
If you already know the person and the feeling is mutual go out for dinner. Then u can actually have a chance to talk.
A not to expensive place, where u have to look nice...its always a good idea becoz everyone really dresses for their first date. Its about first impressions.
Little tip..dont order soup or spagetthi, nothing with a lot of sauce and let the girl pick what she wants.
Its like dont go for something like lobster coz then u have to use your hands.
Also dont eat to much, just fill yourself up u dont want to be impared for the rest of the evening

the best place is marine drive, when you sit over there next to each other, beautiful wind, noice of the water, it give syou very romantic expeirnece and comfortable feeling to speak with your partner.

wwelll....the movies is a classic. although u may want to try something diffrent......how about the fair or an amusement park? thats ALWAYS fun.
