It is not wise. Most of the products are literally worthless but because they word the labeling carefully, the are not controlled by government regulation. So a diet of green tea' is not controlled and the claims are extravagant but the people that write the brochures know how close they can come to breaking the law and leave room so that they are not liable. Not long ago, a herbal product containing ephedra (or Ma Huang) was being produced by several companies and the purpose was to increase metabolism, and indeed it seemed to work as it speeded up heart rate and caused excitation and still it was not regulated until a few deaths occured as the medication could cause dramatic shifts in blood pressure. Exercise is a good begining...but it took time to accumulate the weight and it does take time to shed it....Throw away those scales, eat less and exercise and you'll be fine.

I would say NO.
Drugs always have side-affects, un-wanted reactions & a danger of becoming reliant on them.
Good old fashioned willpower is best.
More satisfaction & knowing that U did it all URself, 4 URself, can never B underestimated.

Stay away from diet pills. The side effects far out weigh their usefulness.
