You need to update your operating system. If you are running say windows 2000 and you encounter script your computer doesn't understand as written, then you need to go to Microsoft website and download updates. One of those updates will be called "service Pack 1". Now it may be called service pack 7 or something as 1 has been updated many times since. Find your updates, download them and restart your computer. This should fix your problems. Have Fun!

Service Pack 1 refer to an upgrade of XP because the first edition was very buggy.
If you haven't installed Service Pack 1, a whole slew of patches for XP window, the program which indicated that message obviously will not work with it.

It means you´re tying to install something that rquires the drivers or such from service pack 1 (of the operating system). Install that first. You can download the service packs for Windows at http://update.microsoft.com/windowsupdate
