Tell him on your next date, no matter where you are. Don't say "let's be friends" or "it's not you--it's me". Just say that things aren't working out the way you'd like and that you and he are not meant to be. Do it ASAP.

Firstly, come to terms with the fact that When and Where are immaterial. They matter not one jot compared to How to break up. It is how you will acquit yourself in bringing an end to this relationship that will affect the way you think about yourself in the future.

Do you wish to end it by preserving his feelings, and your own, by being less than truthful, by pandering to what you imagine he would want to hear? Is it your desire to just get it over with, and leave him without fuss, without any recriminations coming in your direction?

You know in your heart that the only way to end this relationship is with complete, and perhaps brutal, honesty. If it is over, tell him so. But do not lie or prevaricate. Give him a fair chance to leave the relationship with what honour and integrity he has. And thereby discover your own.

Do not write a note or do it over the phone. Just do it in person like an adult. Just tell him the truth, its not working out with the two of you, tell him its over. If he asks why - tell him about the defensive behavior, if he then gets defensive again - say - see, there it is right there. Tell him you wish him the best and leave.

You talk to him directly saying that our ideas donot match and cannot get along well so lets break up. Always a direct talk is the best. Its your life don't get into a relationship which you are not comfortable with.

I would say just end it over the phone this way if he wants to fight and you dont CLICK hang up. If he's not the right guy dont put it off i would do it right away so you both can move on

Hello! I think you have to broke up with him in the school (if you're both in one school) or talk to him somewhere in the park... You have to explain why would you brake-up with him. If he explains too why he did i to you but plese listen to him first... If you think his explanation is enough to forgive him, It's up to you!!! Good Luck!
