its at the end of every month (especially if they haven,t hit the sales target!) then they will be desperate to sell u a car. when u go in though dont be to bothered & walk away if ur not bothered. if u dont ask u dont get & shop around to get the best deals 1st. go in after lunchtime as this is usually when the salesman/woman is the most relaxed & u can get a very good deal on most models/makes of cars. have fun!

I think the best time to buy a new car is towards the end of the
year, like in November or December when the newer models
of cars for the next year are about to launch, and they want to reduce or sell, as quickly as possible, the present stock of cars by offering special rebates/discounts with additional items like fuel vouchers. Some of these sales promotion for the new and
year-end cars are exciting, genuine and cheapest in terms of value that money can buy.

I read in a consumer magazine once that the best deals always occur towards the end of ant given month. The theory being that if the sales people are short on target for the month then they will be more willing to flex with deals and offers. It never said how to find out if the sales people are on or off target though - Pot luck I suppose.

The best time is the last few days of the month,
just after the new model of what you are looking for has come out.
At the end of a month dealers are trying to meet their sales objectives and the manufacturer offers better rebates and incentives to the dealers to get rid of the older model when the new models are hitting the ground.

A good time to buy a new car is when the new models are on the lot. So in 07 it would be cheaper to buy a new 06. The dealer is usually in a hurry to sell off the previous years cars so they don't have to buy them and so they have room in thier lot for the new batch.

december is reputedly the best time to get a dea because very little people buy a car in the run up to christmas and salesmen need to keep their figures up. also if they are down on the number of cars shifted that year then they will want to move a car even if it means making hardly any money

Depends of the type of vehicle. Winter time is always good for deals. Convertibles are always more expensive during the warmer months.
Buying an outgoing model is one way of getting a cheap deal.

best time is december, january time as sales are slow.
but to get discount, u must go for manufacturers that make loads of cars such as nissan, and all the average makes and they have thousands in stock. also if the model is about to be renewed, that is a good time to buy. always haggle and try differnet dealers- it can be a differnece of a grand!

End of the year, you can have good deals. And also with models that are not very popular.
