Don't confuse Christians with catholics. Most "christian" art is catholic including pictures of Jesus, and there is no reason in the world to think that angels look like catholic art work from hundreds of years ago. Actually the Bible clearly says that angels are spirits and have no shape or form. Angels have the ability to take on human form that we are told in the Bible.

NO, you don't insult Christians at all. I have had angels described to me by a blind woman who constantly saw three men standing by the foot of her hospital bed. She described them as extremely handsome, and always smiling, they gave her room a peaceful feeling. And she did things that deserved angels. During WWII she went into Italy and France and rescued a dozen Jewish children and brought them home to Canada with her until the war was over. Then after the war, and her husband came home wounded and unable to work, she scrubbed floors in a hospital for the mentally ill, giving up her dreams of finishing school and having children of her own. She was in constant pain from arthritis, and when I met her she could not make a fist, nor could she walk more than a few steps, yet she was always happy to have someone visit her and describe her visitors to.

there is nothing wrong with making an idol. u make idols of things u love and respect. just coz ur silly religion says dont do that and this doesn't mean its right. stop disrespecting other religions. all the ppl are worshipping the same god, and u have to remember that there is ONE god not 1 god for christians and another for muslims.

We don't. Artists create pictures of things they have never seen. It's called "imagination". No one knows what Jesus looked like, but people like to have a visual interpretation. You might have a picture of your mother. Every time you look at that picture, are you "worshipping" your mother? Of course not!

And you insult everyone who is trying read this question with incorrect tenses, incorrect use of the English language and generalising the actions of some to equal the actions of all Christians.

I don't worship an idol. I have no idea what Jesus looks like. I just know that He is my savior. I have idea what he looks like... you know given we know that he was from Jerusalem. As far as the angels, it is just an interpretation.
