Tell him... If you really like him, its worth the possible rejection. If you dont think its worth him maybe not liking you back, then you probably dont like him that much.

Very hard to deal...
Um, tell him that you like him alot but you respect your friend also.
If your friend is a very close one, than just stay as a good friend, hang out alot so he would know you alot too. Maybe he will like you, and sence somehow that you like him too.
The best thing is, ask him to fix you with a great date so you won't have to hang into him. Moving on is the best thing to deal in this situation!

fantasise about what will never be, or should never be. anyways a crush is only a crush and not love. Soon you will have a new crush to focus on.
