Scars can be removed by having an operation- a cosmetic one- so it could cost you quite a bit. Any of these fad creams are unlikely to work i'm afraid, especially as the scar is fairly old now, all they do is moisturise the scar.

depends on how deep and how big the scar is. if the cut goes into the deeper layer of the skin, it will take longer to heal. wider surface also take longer to heal. it also depends on your genes. if you have the kind of genes that is prone to bruises and scars, it will heal longer. there are several ways of fixing a scar: 1. eating veggies and fruits rich in vitamins, cause these will make the antioxidant help your skin cells regenerate. 2. staying away from the sun, at least until the skin heals. 3. supplements of vitamin e in those clear gel capsules. it really works. your skin will be smoother in no time. 4. there are some over the counter creams that could work in making the scars less noticeable. u san also use creams to reduce stretchmarks. i cannot recommend any brands, cos i dunno in which country you live. just ask the local drugstore.

Bio -Oil. Available in all good chemists. It's great for scars, stretch marks and aged skin. It's a dry oil and rubs in easily.

best at the moment is laser cosmetic surgery - its over 90% effective
my sister in law had a small scar removed from her forehead after a car crash and you cant see it at all now.
potentially you'd have to pay for this but if you're in the UK go to your GP and say its emotionally affecting you and chances are you'll get it on the NHS
good luck
