"Peace" is the most common word on a Muslim's tongue. Whenever two people meet, they exchange greetings, wishing each other peace: "Peace be upon you."
Our creed is to believe in Allah, His Angels, His Books, His Messengers, the Day of Judgment, and Fate whether good or bad.
so, how do you ever expect us to insault other religions ???

Apple just insulted the Pope. So that answers the 1st part of ur ques.
Half the truth is worse than a lie.Have u ever tried to find out in what context the Pope said so? I'll give a small eg. I say,"............. I luv Osama." That sounds preposterous, doesn't that? But I could've actually said," Osama is paving his way for doom. I luv him 4 that. I luv Osama." See! Many ambiguities arise when u're not sure about the context in which the remarks r made. The Pope was just quoting a medieval text, he wasn't saying any thing on his own. It wasn't his personal reflection.Have u even tried to listen to the entire speech? Besides, the Pope has made 2 written apologies & 1 public apology. That means HE IS SORRY!!! Isn't that enough?
Y r u ppl making such a row about it? Some Muslim hardliners in London apparently asked 4 his execution! This is far worse than an insult.
How I wud appreciate the same reaction when Islamic terrorists bomb the 'infidels' , especially the Britons & the Americans, frm across the world.
Sorry if I've have hurt u but this is the truth. In ur daily prayers itself u say, 'la ila illya Allah...............' which means 'thr is no God except Allah & Mohd. is His messenger'.
So, as Rakesh said, u actually do.
This is a completely unbiased opinion.Moreover, I'm neither a Muslim nor a Christian; I'm a Hindu.Hence, no religious prejudice.
Bye!

Oh my word! You are kidding, right?! In this day and age I have never heard of a religion with exception of the Muslims that have done all of these things.
The purpose of Jihad according to Muslim leaders is to turn everyone to their religion or kill them. Yes, these may be radicals, but the moderate Muslim leaders are not saying much.
The pope read one sentence from a book. He apologized. A nun was killed, churches were burned, the pope was burned in effigy and was threatened with murder. Weren't these actions mimicking the one sentence that he read. Makes you kind of wonder, doesn't it?
I have Muslim friends that I like very much, but even they will not speak up against this violence, which makes me sad. I think they are afraid of other Muslims. (that's just my opinion)They are truly wonderful people and I respect their religion. My whole apartment building is almost all Muslim. I hope they continue not to blame the whole American country for each act perpetuated by a few people, just as I believe you would not want me to assume that this violence is desired by all Muslims.

Last week I read an Imam's comment that Jesus is now Mohammed's slave in Heaven, in response to the Pope's speech. I believe that the Koran also states that anybody who is not Muslim is an infidel and should be killed. Do you believe that is a compliment to non-muslims?

What's the big deal about a tiny insult? Much worse is all the killing. Both sides, All sides, are to blame for that. Not just today, but throughout history. Get off your high horse and act righteous, not self-righteous. All the Prophets are disgusted with us.

he pope did not insult you. He simply quoted someone from 700 years ago. And you insult us every day by saying Jesus was not the son of God.
EDIT: what was Islam's answer to the so called insult? to prove it right, churches were set afire, people were killed, and some fool muslim leader told his followers to kill anyone who listens to the POPE. Yup, truly a religion of peace and brother hood. MY AZZ!
EDIT AGAIN: JESUS WAS NOT A PROPHET, HE IS THE SON OF GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Are you blind dude? The double standard that you muslims use should be listed in the Guiness World Record book. The Pope say something from some dude HUNDREDS of years ago and you people FREAK OUT. That's just plain STUPID and INFANTILE..

saying that Jesus was a prophet is not an insult.... it is a belief that western democracy's freedom of religion entitles us to... and the freedom of choice given by God allows us that same right

Well you do insult Jesus by calling Him just a prophet. He was so much more than that. And true, you've never insulted our Holy Book, but that's because the Koran constantly quotes from it. I still love yall though(even though your overall outlook on females is horrible).
