u dont! u can believe he does, u can feel he does, u can see he does, u can hope he does - BUT at the end of the day you will never ever know for sure 100%. the male species can be (from personal experience) very twisted so keep this in mind before you let your heart rule your head.

The fact that you are asking this does not in anyway mean that you have never been loved. Ignore some of these answers, people are just rude. Anyway, you really just need to trust your instincts. I mean, honestly you have to just trust in it. Guys are complicated, they hide there feelings, ya never know and getting a broken heart is one of the worst feelings in the world but, being in love is worth the risk.

when he is after her,
when he is always seem whereever she goes.
in his smile which is different from other smiles.
when he does all whatever she wants.
when he wants to be with her forever.
when he hesitates to leave
when he wants to sit only beside her in a theatre.
when he fulfills what ever asked.
when he does even that all what he is supposed not to do.
when he tells about his dreams in which he is seeing her only
by all this above a woman will know that the man is in love with her but it is not necessary that she will also fall in love with him.
if she is also doing the above by all means the man also can think that the woman is in love with the man.

You never really know a person. Trust me. I asked the same question, and well, men are a little well, aLOT complicated. They bottle their feelings, because they are egotistical. Just look at his actions and the way he treats you. You will know soon enough.
