You should ask him in a nice way to not put him off. He might be scared how you would react to him having previous girlfirends. If youre together now it doesnt matter about the past. But he should be honest with you.

I'd be cautious and take the time to see if there are other discrepancies in his life. He may be a "liar" and say whatever will suit the occasion. This kind of person is untrustworthy, has poor character and is a disaster waiting to happen. If you learn from other sources that he did indeed have another girlfriend/girlfriends, I'd get as far away as possible no matter the wonderful explanation he may give as to the "why" he lied to you.

It relies upon on what the lie is like if I ask: Q: have you ever completed something with yet another female on an identical time as we've been relationship? A(lie): uh... no Than on no account would forgive him. If it grew to become into: Q: What grade did you get in ELA? A(lie): ninety 8 that could slide

Why do u automatically believe the friend over the boyfriend?
Maybe the friend has his own reasons for splitting u up!!
Just tell him what his friend said, dont make a big deal of it, just mention it.

well...to be honest..i knew this guy who went out with chicks...even for a while...but he never called them his girlfriend...maybe you are his first real girlfriend. If it dosen't get in the way of your relationship....don't let it bother you...you may have been telling you ...like he sees it...he never had a girlfriend...

What's in his past is his business, not yours.
However, he should be honest with you, I mean, he doesn't have to go into complete detail of everything he ever did before he met you, but he should be open about the fact that you're not his first.

just wondering, why does it matter.. why are u interested in past. What you should be more concerned about is " if this is telling people that he's seein you".
and if u still think he's done somethin really bad.. ask him..
