that would depend on the cocoa powder you use as most donot make dark choc.it is just cocoa,sugar water....try bakers catalog.com for some good chocolates and powders...

In order to make dark chocolate (that is bar chocolate) you need the cocoa butter which is fat. You can make an excellent hot chocolate with two teaspoons of cocoa powder, two teaspoons of sugar and non-fat milk. Stir it up so that the powder and sugar are dissolved thoroughly. Then heat in the microwave.

You can use cocoa powder to make brownies and cakes, substituting apple sauce for the fat and some of the sugar. Experiment.

cocoa powder has fat in it...maybe you should look for cocoa liquor, which has the flavor of the chocolate without the cocoa butter.

it is not an actual liquor, like booze, but it is what the chocolatiers call the rest of the cocoa bean after the cocoa butter is removed.
