i find comfort when i hear music that the loved one use to listen to or what we would listen to. i'm catholic but you would't think i was, really what i believe is that there is someone up there looking down on us, i feel like they really haven't left, and not every day but most of the time, i find my self talking to them. you know i could do something stupid and look at their photo and just say,"yeah i know your cracking up, you were waiting for that". i just feel really blessed to have had them in my life, and know that i was a part of them. make some compilation tapes or cd's up of music that they liked or that reminds you of the good times you had together. be strong, i'm really sorry for your loss, my thoughts are with you xx
this is to gemstone ,
i'm really sorry for your tragic loss too, i also think of lost loved one's when i listen to this song, but also when my fisrt son popped out into this world, it was no.1 in the charts. the last few minutes of pushing it was playing in the delivery room. i think it was an appropriate song to be playing, as that night at the age of 17 i become a woman and a mother, i've never seen the old me since, and i kind of miss her sometimes although i wouldn't change a thing.

wow I am so sorry for your tremendous loss.
My 21 yr old son died four years ago and the loss is huge.
There is a song that I don't know the name of but it goes a bit like this..."I'll be seeing you in all familar places............"
Or there is that Erik Clapton's song that he wrote for his little son who died from falling out of an open window. "will you know my name, when I see you in Heaven......" I think it is called Tears in Heaven.
How did this happen?
God bless you

You can also get encouragement from the story of Job in the Bible.
Be strong, its only for a season, everything will be alright.
