Not only expensive but not all that tasty either. I guess it's because customers have no other choice but to eat there, businesses don't need to woo the customers - whenever I travel I make a point of bringing something to eat because have you noticed, even if you've eaten a huge meal once you get to the airport you are hungry again. Also, after paying a fortune for bland, insipid airport food, I promised myself I would never eat at the airport again. Let's boycott airport restaurants!!

Because of the higher rents charged by the Airport operator - due to the expected 'captive' patronage from the passengers and those receiving or sending them off.

cuz they know you left your house hungry and usually there are a lot of families that go there to say goodbye,..so it's like a mall except they want to charge you a leg and an arm for everything... anyways it's just weird isn't it? if you're really hungry you'll eat there...... my advice is to buy food to take on your trip.. airplane food is no good!
