i will be travelling to london in a few weeks from new york and was wondering if i can carry my ipod, my nitendo gameboy, my 2 teddy bears, my makeup, and my favorite burberry umbrella??

what will the security people not allow me to bring on the plane? because i would leave some of these items at home if i knew that i would not be able to bring the on the plane with me.

i remember a few weeks ago i was watching the news and they made people throw out items such as moisturizer, and cosmetics. was that just because of a certain event?? or is that a solid rule now??

thanks!

The only thing that's changed is that you are not allowed ANY liquids. Other than thast, I'm sure everythings fairly normal.

Check the TSA's website for the complete list of Permitted & Prohibited items:

Have a good time.

They passed the order of banning liquids to be brought along on the planes because of the terrorist plot that was known right at the bottle neck of being carried away in the UK a few weeks ago. You can bring the rest of the items you have mentioned in your question. But to make sure and avoid any mishap, call the airport security and find out before hand.

i'm pretty sure that the ipod, gameboy, teddy bears, and umbrella are all alright to bring with you, but as for the makeup, make sure nothing is liquid... they are not allowing any liquids on the planes, including water. i believe that is what i last heard.

Maybe not the make up and the gameboy because you could hide something in there (idiots do anyway) but everything else should be ok.
