Its not dangerous, in fact its better for you. When you fall into deep sleep you start REM sleep or Rapid Eye Movement. People who have shorter episodes of REM are more lethargic during the day and can be more prone to sicknesses. Tell your mom to check her data.

I am also a very deep sleeper. I don't think there is anything you can do to stop it, since that is just the way you are. If it is really bothering your Mom, she can take you to a sleep doctor to see what they say.

Hello Gabi, i was also a deep sleeper too not until i started to do some exercises and eat less. Now i don't sleep that much. I think u should try that, may be it will work out for you.

Go to the doctor and have a sleep study done. You may have sleep apnea (that was my problem).
