Is there an alternative to Urinaalysis strip DIASTIX of BAYER?

I am a Diabetic patient and test my sugar level each day using DIASTIX strip manufactured by BAYER'S which costs Rs6/- per strip. I feel that they are overcharging because of lack of alternatives. I want to know whether any strip at lesser cost is available.

Do you check your sugar with a urine reagent strip? I am not sure i know what exactly you want, but check www.labessentials.com. They have urine reagent strips and they sell online. Just make sure the one you chose has an indication for sugar (glucose), because there are many different ones.
