Sustainable development have been defined so many times by different NGOs and of course the UN in such long worthy sentences and often it is very difficult for many people to grasp and understand and implement. How do we define the term in a much more user friendly way so that we could educate others to follow and understand it in an easier format with graphical diagrams where possible?

It actually does work within the concept of PHI, the golden mean, also known as the divine balance. We must be stewards of our resources, and enhance that which advances the entirety of the society, and reject that which is deleterious to the society as a whole.

It is the development of an area in a way that its resources will not be exhausted but enhanced because of the development. For example, in a beautiful picturesque village where people go for this reason, if we build big hotels and it becomes like Las Vegas, tourists will eventually stop coming. This is not sustainable. It would be sustainable to conserve the old houses and turn them into traditional hotels. Other example: in agriculture, if we use methods that eventually pollute the soil, it is not sustainable. If we do biological cultures we make sure the development will be continuous and based on itself.
