My question says affordable, not free. Big difference...

Before you give this answer a thumbs down...think and consider the following:
First...we can't afford to give "free" health care to the illegal aliens...let alone our own citizens. There is no such thing as a "free" lunch...someone has to foot the bill and we do not have enough money to pay the tab.
Second...medical technology has far outpaced our ability to pay for the medical care we can deliver (we can keep a premature drug addicted baby alive...at a cost of millions...and we have lots of drug addicted premature babies...it just all adds up).

move to canada, altho you pay lots of taxes...but healthcare is FREE
