this question is only for muslims...i know u have a certain responsibility when u become a muslim wife. but do u have a responsibility when ur enganged? or being enganged is just like being in a gf bf relationship. your honest answer is greatly appreciated. thank you.

Engagement is actually not a common term in Islam. And thus, an engaged girl still belongs to her parents until she got married to that lucky bloke, and until that day comes, she has no responsibility whatsoever to him.

To be engaged means only one thing, you are going t marry and no one else can come forwarded to ask you to marry him, but it has no special relation till you complete marriage.

no, you owe nothing to your fiancee since you are not married to him. you are still the responsibility of your father/guardian.

it helps to have a short engagement for this reason. so that you don't have to wait any longer!
