It depends what degree your hemmoroids are at. 3rd degree protrusion is bad & I suggest surgery. You'll be sore for about a month but will be pain free & well worth it in the end. (no pun intended). They can also do day surgery without anesthesia in which they wrap elastic bands on them & they fall off. Don't wait too long cause if they're at the point of bleeding can make you very miserable & painful. Good luck!

I am 60 and have had hemmroids since a teenager.
I tried about everything.
Vaseline. Use a finger condom and insert in the rectum.
It is the only thing that ever workd for me and has worked for many years. Cheap, simple works almost right away.
Vaseline used to make hemmroid medicine but no longer does.
Don't eat spicy food either.
Don't eat food that is rough without chewing very very well.
(like raw nuts)
