Why would anyone want to spend an eternity with people you find annoying and obnoxious?

I tend to get along with all kinds of people.
My grandfather was a Baptist preacher, I get along with Baptists real well. I just let them borrow my porn collection and drink my beer. And, promise not to tell anyone.

Tammidee, I couldn't agree with a person more. I'm nearly 60 and anxiously await the peace that comes with death. I seriously hope that when I die, I do NOT wake up surrounded by Pat Roberston or Jerry Falwell clones praising Jesus.

Anywhere that Jesus will be forever is where I want to be. You can't get to heaven without loving ALL people. That includes the annoying as well as the obnoxious.

You should clarify that a little bit. The obvious answer is "I don't know". If someone's annoying or obnoxious then obviously you want to egress as soon as possible.
Which makes me wonder why I took the time to answer...

I don't know why people assume that but I know that some people who don't focus on the hereafter are thinking about the here and now and nothing else which I think is great!
