* i was chatting with a friend of mine and they had this saying at the top of their messenger page. just curious to know what it means, so any one who has good foreign language skills, hit me up!!*

It looks like it says: "asentar bien en un hombre no es un trabajo de dia. " spelt by a dyslexic or a drunkard, or somebody who had a stroke

That's portuguese definitely, the brazilian sort I believe. It doesn't make much sense - it means like "to flatter a man is not today's job."
Since I'm portuguese and the sentence seems brazialian I suggest you post in the brazilian section of y-answers - see below

I have tried to translate it from a few web sites that i know and nothing comes up so it probably is some kinda of "slang" phrase.

its portuguese.
i'm not really sure but maybe its something like "it's not simply a day's work to manage to get a man to like you"
the fact is that assentar means literally "to sit" so it is probably an expression or proverb... but my portuguese doesnt go that far
